The weeks leading up to Christmas I agreed to be a chaperone for my aunt and uncle, who were on an extended vacation touring the States. After a bunch of rental car travel, all three of us ended up at my cousin's place for Christmas. It was really nice, but it meant that I was with a family member literally every moment I wasn't in the bathroom for over three weeks. Going without any kind of sex - including masturbation - for three weeks is pretty crappy and frustrating. But what are you going to do, eh? Family.

I initially had planned on sidetracking to the south Atlantic on my way home to go out with my friend Zoey on New Years Eve, which I thought we be the perfect way to end a self-inflicted drought. But right before I met with my aunt and uncle she cancelled because apparently she has a serious boyfriend now. So when I got a message from Kyrstin the day after Christmas saying it was too bad I wouldn't be in Arizona for New Years because she broke off with her boyfriend over the holidays and had a sexy new cocktail dress that barely covered anything that would now be going to waste, I thought: what the hell? So I flew into Phoenix on my way home.

Kyrstin used to be a professional competitor of mine, and for years we had the whole attraction-but-animosity thing going before we finally gave in and became lovers, and then better still became friends. The party she had lined up for us to go to was semi-formal and since I had a suit and shirt with me but no tie, so when she picked my up from the airport she took my shopping so I would be presentable. I tried to start something in the dressing room, but she rebuffed me and I wondered if even though I was staying at her place if I had misjudged her intention. After all, it had been years since we'd gotten together in that way.

The party was fun, and at midnight she kissed me quite well, and shortly thereafter we went back to her place to ring in the new year properly. And it turned out I hadn't misjudged after all.

A warning to those who, like me, don't like the musical stylings of Eminem...

Kyrstin wanted music but didn't have a stereo in her bedroom, and so she brought in a portable CD player and put in an Eminem album. (I couldn't tell you which.) She told me we had have Eminem music on, because "Eminem music is the greatest music in the world to fuck to." (It really isn't, but when a woman says something like that it is best to just shut your mouth and nod.) The player only held one CD, and over the course of the night it played the same album over and over. When I woke up the next morning it was still playing, because when we finally finished what was a very long session of sex we fell asleep without turning it off. So now every time I hear Eminem I am simultaneously going to get hard and wish I wasn't listening to Eminem.

So if you hate hearing Eminem, this is really not the post for you. Seriously, turn back now.

If, on the other hand, you enjoy very energetic, slightly crazy, but very fun 34-year old redheads that can go all night, then you might enjoy this one.
