Even though this is my first recording, I approached it quite seriously. It didn't turn out exactly as I expected, but the result still pleased me.
A new neighbor moved in upstairs. A guy comes to visit her a couple of times a week. She looks about 25 — a short brunette. He’s a tall guy around 30. Russians.
The building has very thick concrete walls from an old construction, and in all the years I’ve lived here, I’ve never heard anyone. The soundproofing is excellent. But a month ago, I heard an interesting rhythmic creaking of a bed for the first time. At first I thought I was imagining it, but a few days later it happened again.
It’s hard to hear through the wall, so I went with a different solution. I bought a sound recording device with a contact microphone (HY929). There’s a very tall wardrobe in my apartment with about 15 centimeters of space between the top and the ceiling. I was able to press the microphone against the ceiling there.
The device is cheap but very sensitive, so the recording has a lot of noise. I tried cleaning up the audio on my computer — it sounds better, but a lot of the useful sound disappears as well. So I decided to leave the file as it is.
About the audio:
At one point you can even hear a squelching wet sound. There’s a lot of overloaded/distorted sound because the bed is banging directly on the floor, and therefore straight into the sensitive microphone (turn the volume down). One weird thing near the end of the recording — you can hear the second girl moaning (were they watching porn???)
Hope you enjoy it
