It's epic! You can set all different recording quality turn up the sound way past what it should be etc

And you can edit it all with the software on the computer or mac!!

Here's another, this one's from a legend in the audio industry: TASCAM, Teac Audio professionals PCM recorder. It's free, I just wish their hardware was just as free too. They have a stereo mic gadget that plugs into the 'pod and is highly regarded. It's just the sticker shock (80 bucks) is what is keeping me from snapping one up. I'm going to give their PCM recorder a shot and see how it behaves in a room that has several fans running to see if it can filter out the racket.
