Lets start with a bit of backstory and a description of our subject...
A few years ago, I was producing a record for a band whose name can't be included here for obvious reasons. Anne - their singer - was British, 20 yrs old if memory serves, slim, around 5 ft 8 tall, small but perky tits (I'd guess a B cup), topped off with a cute face and blond hair to just below her shoulders. She was attractive in a girl next door kind of way. Combine that with the way she'd dress on stage and it's safe to say most people would probably look twice. I'm no exception to most people apparently, but was attached to someone else at the time, plus she was quite a few years younger than me and that's generally not my bag. The way this project worked was very different to a standard album recording if there is such a thing nowadays. In short, money was seriously tight for everyone, so to avoid paying sky high London studio rates, the band would jump on last minute cancellations and downtime in their local studios, pay for me to travel to them, record as much as we could in whatever window of time they'd managed to blag, and put me up for a few nights at a time. Invariably this meant staying on Anne's floor, because she had her own place (a tiny bedsit thing above a shop) and access to her boyfriend's van to move all the rental gear around. Other than the lack of an actual bed and how noisy her place was (literally right above a main road), it suited me well enough. She was pretty good company, and she kept me well fed
So, what are you going to hear in this thread...
A couple of days in to the second time I stayed over (must've been a 4-5 day stretch that time), I could've sworn I heard moans while I was in the shower. Of course, I hopped out, left the shower running and got my ear to the door to see if I could pick anything out, but no luck. Nevertheless, it was enough to peak my curiosity and set me off wondering what could be caught. So from then on, whenever possible I'd leave some sort of recorder running. Sometimes it'd be in my coat pocket, other times tucked into the front of a bag of recording gear, wherever would get me closest to the bed and the potential action. After two recordings of her coming while I was in the shower, I realised that I had to find a different approach, because between the close proximity of the bathroom and the bastard cars/buses/lorries being a constant during the morning rush hour, my recordings were being ruined. I hit on the idea of going for a run early each morning and picking up breakfast for us both from a bakery on my way home. Most of you will have to take my word for it that to anyone who knows me in real life, that plan is fucking hilarious, but I stuck with it through to the end of the album in the name of being a SexSoundLover.
I only ever managed to get one recording of her with her then boyfriend, which was less than I was hoping for and very disappointing to me at the time. It did however provide an interesting comparison when I unexpectedly ended up in bed with her long after the project was wrapped up. Yup, recorded that too.
So, it's gonna take a few months to post all this I reckon, but there's some pure gold within people. Stick with it.
