Jackpot July

So coming home, decided to spend Friday night at my favorite place. Did not disappoint. Captured 7 sessions of which I was able to capture 3 with my Olympus!

Evening wasn't without some disappointments and surprises.
* One couple I could have described never had sex last night - they were cute too.
* Last couple of the evening "F" were my next door neighbors who arrived very late around 4AM. Had the good sense to set up a USB right away and I did really intend to get a good under door Olympus capture - but they spent some time talking - so in spite of repeatedly walking around or sitting in the most uncomfortable chair in my room - my body which already had another sleepless night in Milwaukee and travel yesterday finally said 'enough' and I found myself waking up in the chair two hours later!
* While I think all hits were decent or better (favs are "A" and "C"), they were all one hit wonders - no one felt like providing me with an encore performance.
* No morning nookie! Did another roof-to-bottom walking tour 8AM and there was nothing there nor on my USB plants. Unusual because the LA crowd is fond of doing some of their best sex between 530 and 1100 am!

Still, it was definitely one of the better evenings I've had this year considering was not on New Years, Valentines or Easter..

Here we go:

Couple A - No description. I thought at first she was a small dog crying but set up the Olympus anyway and glad I did. She makes some noises that I couldn't hear even on the other side of the door. Was really hoping these two would repeat.

Couple B - Sadly I did see these two - dumpy, fat and homely. Not kidding. She sounds great, so I did my diligence, but with that visual, found it hard to get into the full spirit. But she has a great voice. Sometimes better if you don't see! They were my next door neighbors on the opposite side of Couple "F" so was able to hear them starting up..

Couple C was by far my favorite. Unfortunately right up front facing the 4 elevator doors! Only interrupted once and had to scramble quickly to grab the Olympus and head down to the lobby, pretending I was waiting for the elevator. Happily, it was right at the end. Didn't see them, but earlier, she was singing along to a song on the radio and her voice is stone gorgeous - I am in love. Came out when they were almost at the end, but the UDHD is a very decent sample representative of the longer session - thank God I planted the USB before!

Couple D: Thought couple D had some promise and I enjoyed their lighthearted encounter. But it turns out they were visiting a hotel guest. I caught what you hear and slapped a stick mic nearby. Left when the session ended and that turned out to be it. USB revealed that the three chatted for about 20 minutes, after which the couple left and the bachelor was alone the rest of the night. Still scoured the rest hoping maybe a neighbor would kick in later..

Couple E: Was a hookup. I planted the mic because they were chatting and I could hear her bubbly personality, nice voice and that there were only two in the room, so good risk.This paid off where the couple I stalked did not.. After their sex she ended up leaving and they exchanged phone numbers.

Couple F: Lastly, my neighbors who arrived at 4AM shortly before I was finally preparing to get a few hours' sleep. Already know what happened from above. Not the strongest recording but if you listen carefully, she has some charming vocal expressions - the Olympus would definitely have done her more justice!

Note on this hotel - the doorframes are unfortunately painted a medium shade of what looks like mix of blue, gray and dark green. White shows up, Black Shows up, Silver shows up.. So I have to place a white mic on opposite wall usually, or can use black on vertical chrome strips, black firedoor hinges, etc. So can't use sticky mics on door frame as I can with hotels that have white or black door finishes..

I think has something to do with favorable conditions inside the room, and the hallway. This was a black USB mic (marginally better quality than my white mics though both are pretty good), angled 45 degrees from room on the black finished hinge of an open bulkhead door, and the room was just next to the bulkhead. Also at the very end of a hall furthest away from elevators, ice machine and air return units, not to mention lighter foot traffic.

On a different note was happier these two past excursions with my Olympus. Settings are good now and also finding setting the mic 4-6 inches away from gap as opposed to being tempted to mount directly to the gap has made a huge difference, eliminated the loud background I was getting before.

Whilst I appreciate your efforts.. They are not for me.. The girls always sound a bit porno ish.. I'm not a big fan of U.S.stuff anyway.. Give me some nice genuine British stuff any day of the week. But amazing how you manage to catch so much stuff ..more in an evening than most of us have caught in a lifetime. Good on you

great captures. I am currently in the greater los angeles area. And I'm having no luck. The marriott I am at seems to be mostly families on vacation. My wife visited me and we did it the other morning.

and there was a couple behind us that i was hoping would make some kind of noise. Turns out they checked out this morning only to have sex for about 3 minutes. I got a few bed squeaks and 5 good moans and that was it out of my neighbors. Id figure if they heard me and my wife doing it they would be motivated to do it too. i guess not.
