camping and my technics

sorry if my english isn't wery good but it's not my native language.
I enjoy to listen your sounds.
I'm trying to make a personal web site about theses sounds

It's just a little site with bad presentation but
i'ts just start with a few files for the moment.

I stop to talk of site it's not the subject of this post

I have a sereval and several times listened couples in hotels
or neighbors when i am in in a holyday's flat. (not at home because i don't have any neighbors)

for holliday's flat , I have built a parabolic mic with consist in 4 parts :

A parabolic plastic reflector , an electret mic , a amplifier with 9V battery and earphones.
The amplifier and it battery are small. thay can be but in a packet of marlboro with 2 jack plug
(1 for earphone and 1 for mic).
In summer's holydays , i use this equipement in direction of neigbors's open windows in front of
my holyday's rent flat. I heared a lot of couple with this .

In a hotel i use the same equipement except from mic. I use an another mic.
I had and old broken cell phone. I opened it and take the phone's mic.
It's a cylinder of about 5mm of diameter and 5mm hight. and it's a very sensible mic.
it's to small than i can put it under my room door between the door and the floor
and i can listen any noise of rooms'hall.In hotel near paris i usally go for work ,
there is a bad sound insulation for wall,floor and no for doors and i listened a lot of couples clearly.
In this hotel , neighbors door touch mine.

I will , very soon , buy a mp3 player/recorder . i can't find a cheap model with external mic plug. never mind ,
i will modify it to add a jack plug and so , i will begin my record and post to you.

This summer , in August , I will spend 15 days of holidays on the atlantic coast in camping.
I hope listen and record a lot of couples under their tents.
Have you any experiment about that (couples in camping)?

Concerning the recorder, I highly recommend the olympus WS series. They record in WMA format and provide an external microphone plug. Most importantly: They allow to listen to the captured sounds while recording... this is a big plus in my opinion!
