NEW MEMBER - Offering sound/audio revamp/remaster expertise

Post by badguy69 »

Hi Im a new user on the site.

I have extensive knowledge of sound recording and sound editing (Adobe Audition/Cool Edit) and have been recently re-mastering some of the sounds posted on the board with some excellent results. I'm finding that I am able to bring out even the most quiet or poorly captured audio with exciting results.

I am unsure on how to best share these with you all, as I respect the original recorders' work to simply repost, even with credit given

I hope I can be of assistance here as I find this board extremely exciting, with some superb sex sounds enthusiasts out there. I am confident I can really rejuvenate some of the classic captured love sounds

Please PM me (and that includes Yeppie) if you would like audio revamping or editing (i.e. taking out the long periods of inactivity in many recordings)

Hope to connect and become an active part of the SSL community soon

Thanks

Welcome BadGuy69!

Thanks for your offer, enhancing sounds is always good. I know there are differences in what people think is "better", some prefer rough sounds for their authenticity, some prefer "perfect" recordings. But offering an edited version should not be a problem for anyone if you don't plan to do that for each uploaded file. Please use the reply button and post the edits in the same thread where the original file is / was. Only if you edit a sound from the days of the yahoo group (uploaded before December 2005), you will need to start a new thread.

Welcome to the community!!

I actually solicited your type of skills with some clips I put up on the board a few months ago:

http://www.yeppie.org/ssl-forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=917

I think they may have been moved to the archives now.. but if Yeppie doesnt mind, I could put them back up if you would like to 'tinker' with them. The original material is a bit rough (wav format, 32kbs/sec mon), but if you are interested, let me know and I can see if Yeppie will let me re-post the clips (think they were only like 8mb altogether).

Again, welcome to the community and look forward to hearing more from you!

Of course - itd be a pleasure just to enhance any sounds that people have worked hard to capture.

Not every recording is 100% enhanceable but most can be remastered to bring out the most important sounds amongst the other miscellaneous noises.

I would be more than happy to have a go!

Sure Mark, let 'em come. Badguy, please send a quick note after you downloaded the reposted sounds. I'd rather delete reposted files than newer ones when we reach the total file size limit.

Badguy / Yeppie -

I have reposted all the clips in their original link (above), and tagged them all with "repost" in the file comment section.

Badguy - Good luck, and Thanks!

Yep got them

Could you send me PM with a clue as to where in each file the action begins? (min :sec) I say this as they are very big files (40mins plus) so analysis is difficult where the sounds are very faint and mixed with the street noise

Thanks

Oh damn... I was hoping you wouldnt ask me that question. Bad thing about dimensia/alzheimers (j/k)... (or maybe its just CRS disease)

Well... I want to say most of the action was around the beginning of the clips (heard something interesting, so went to set the recorders up)... but if I remember right.. there may be some other stuff in various parts too.

Bad thing about that place.. the bars are all outside... and rooms are right beside the bars... so it is hard to distinguish 'bar sounds' from sex sounds sometimes (random loud screams, laughing, random loud comments, etc). With the nekid ear, thought I heard maybe 2-3 different 'sexsounds'; but again... that is why I recorded them and figured I would sort it out when I got home... unfortunately... quality was so crap I couldnt really tell when I was listening.

I guess if maybe you could increase the amplification and drop the 'low end' (car engine sounds, air conditiioners, etc)... that would help (if i remember correctly.. most of the sounds I heard were on the high 2/3 end of the human voice range). Hope this helps...

Oh.. just remembered... in one of the clips.. maybe 5-20 min into it.. I swear I heard a woman/girl screaming/moaning.. and a second girl yelled something to the effect of "split her apart"... so dunno if this was a 3-some lesbian act or 3-some guy-girl-girl or again.. just random bar noises. Sorry to be so vague... it was all fresh a year ago.. but having trouble recalling it again. I will re-listen to the clips this weekend to see if it helps.

Thanks again!

No problem it is fine I think I have located some of the action and will trim the files so that it is continuous and the other noise is taken away

there is definetly something towards the end of one of the clips that when filtered came out much better so give me a few days and Ill post the results
