Christmas Eve and a desperate need for silence

Merry Christmas everyone! I bring a late gift to you all.
My wife and I are down visiting family for the holidays, and are in the proverbial packed house. On the plus side, the kids are all sleeping together, so we have the room to ourselves. The down side? Probably the world's squeakiest trundle bed. My sister-in-law even said something like, "Even you guys couldn't try to have sneaky sex on that bed." Well, if we are throwing down gauntlets... I'll be the first to pick it up.

We have two beds pushed together at *almost* the same height. My wife and I evidentially had different views on which was going to be more quiet, so when I left my phone recording on my side of the bed, I was thinking I'd be trying to pick up sound on her side. Her hopping on mine gives some nice clear sound even if we brush the mic occasionally.

Thank you for the capture! Reminds me of the old days. We went to a friends place for Christmas and her daughter used that as an excuse to sleep with mom and gave us her room, and much like you, we kind of thought we broke the bed. Lots of giggling that night. Even funnier was the way home, it was the storm of the century, and all the hotels at the first two exits we tried were filled up. We stopped at a real little town for gas at about 4AM and the guy was you are out driving in this? We told him what was up and we were actually only about 2 hours from home, but he had like a little 4 room thing next to the gas station and he rented us one. Given it was in the middle of the night and the place looked abandoned we went at it pretty good. After we were done and drifting off to sleep we heard the rhythmic squeaking of a bed in one of the other rooms starting up. No voices or moans. It could have been the guy for all we knew. But we got a few hours sleep and got home safely the next afternoon.
