Personally, I think that's a strategy likely to backfire. If your stuff is only up for a short time, everyone knows they need to download it. Stuff that sits there in a download folder for a couple of years eventually is something to re-up somewhere else or trade.
But hey, your call. Just seems like an odd precaution for a small members-only forum dedicated to a minor kink.

He means he doesnt want others to take his recordings that if he publicly posted it here on this forum to everyone to be then stolen and posted everywhere else (other platforms) like reddit, freesound and wherever else perhaps even onlyfans like he mentioned may have happened in past(i believe this is what he meant)

Just curious. Did he copyright any of his recordings? I know that's not a common thing anyone really does especially when they're eavesdropping on couples having sex. I get if he has an OnlyFans page and he's trying to make money; he doesn't want his recordings going out to public free forums, but what do you expect? It's the internet. Everything out there eventually becomes fair game for everybody. There's bound to be (previously) paid videos or audios or whatever that are now freely accessible. He's making a mountain out of a molehill. Just saying.

Legal quagmire my dude. Imagine finding a "business" like this and then making a claim to court that you were spied on at night via someone reaching through your window with a recorder.

Selling recordings like this is bound to put you on a sex offender list along with jailtime. That being said, OP is acting weird and only put himself on a blacklist by many members already.

Addendum: if you're really good (very tech-savvy or information agency level training), you can scrape the recording's internal data and find out device information. Putting yourself at risk like that is really, really stupid.

Isnt that exactly what the owner of this forum is doing? Making money with recordings? Dont know whats going on here, but seems to me like double sided thin ice. Fact is that this whole forum is a walk in grey zone. Whatever the reasons, the recordings are gone and they didnt seem very good. So who cares?!
