(...) but snooping on someone who's blatantly having a shit time of it just for kicks doesn't feel right at all, hence winding things down for a while.
This is a good decision of yours, proving yet again that we are a responsible community!

And thanks for all the entertaining recordings ;-)

I completely agree too Scott. When she's fit and well, she's fair game. Until then, we should show some respect. There is a time and a place. Good call.

Thank you Scott for the upcoming solo updates. and yes if she's having a really shit time perhaps she needs you to talk to, off load on as it were. I guess until she's feeling better it is the right decision not to record...personally I think all you'd get were tears anyway and none of us want to download that...if they don't get back together then time is a great healer and either she'll find someone else in time or start wanking again while she searches, either way when the tears are over and the dust settles, however cruel it might sound, she's fair game. I reckon most of us would give her time to grieve, but then the old curiosity would get the better of us and the desire to hear once again that bed and those whimpers...it's an addiction that never leaves you.

I wouldn't approach her with the aim of offering a sympathetic ear Ray, partly because I don't really know her well enough, and partly because our little hobby has skewed my advice and decisions once before - man things got messy that time! She's had a girl friend of some sort staying over the long weekend who's almost certainly gonna have done a better job than I could've anyway.

Scotty, i really am glad you have the right attitude. Shows you have character.
It's no fun for you or us if the person involved is not háving fun as well.

Scott, I'll just add my 0.02 along with everyone else, I agree this is a good decision and shows character and sensitivity on your part. I also agree with what others have said here, you've done an awesome job with this thread both in the sounds themselves and with the updates.

Hope all turns out well for Rachel.

Regards,

The Audioman

I got home about 10 minutes ago, and have been hearing a male voice upstairs with Rachel. It doesn't sound like Chap going on his laugh, but I can't be 100% sure. They sound like they're getting ready to head out at the moment (lots of walking around), so I daren't go up with the recorder to get a clearer idea of who she has visiting, but I'll be around all night to see what happens.

I was right in that they went out shortly after my last post, and have also discovered that it's definitely not Chap.

When they got home a few minutes ago, they hung around outside the building talking. Couldn't get what about from inside, but I'm certain it's a different guy. If this turns out to have been some sort of date, then I'd guess it was the tentative "fancy coming in for a coffee" type convo, because our mystery man did indeed accompany Rachel upstairs again. I decided not to find an excuse to wander outside and scope out the situation, since all things considered I'd rather her not have the conscious thought that I'm definitely in tonight... just in case.

And now, we wait...

Good luck, Scott. Maybe this is the one that's really gonna drive her nuts.
