I hosted a coworker and his Latina wife in an empty apartment when they returned to Spain.

Could you potentially provide a bit more from the beginning of the build up phase? I think the catch starts when they are already heavily at it, but the beginning is missing a bit. Or is this due to the conversations you mentioned you had to remove?

Yes, given the tone of the conversation, I thought it appropriate to edit that part (I almost always disagree with editing audio; it seems like a kind of "castration" to me), but in this case, I think it was the most reasonable thing to do. I always try to be very respectful of certain things that can affect people's true privacy, even though I know Spanish isn't the majority language here and that it could have somehow gone unnoticed. It's often a good strategy, especially for filming people in your immediate surroundings, setting up your equipment, and just letting them do their thing.
When the subjects feel safe, alone, and passionate, you sometimes get something right.
