A week in France (New Update)

Post by MontFrance »

Hello,
This is the following of my week, and last nigth

First, room 604 is still active
Day3-604-3h.mp3
Second, room 305 is still active but I'm not sure it's the same couple as the day before. What do you think
Day4-305-0h30.mp3
and finally, a couple I heard arriving late, laughing at the soundproofing of the hotel. I only met the man who came out to reception, an elegant thirties. They started 10 minutes after they arrived. I was very disappointed with the quality of my recording because they sounded very good live....

Hi Montfrance ! I may i suggest you something. You should edit the original title post with a mention "Updated (the date)" because if you don't a lot of people won't see the news. I could missed it for a little...
If you edit the original title post (in the main page) it will appears in the main forum.
Nobody comes to see an old thread. Sometimes, when a message is posted it's just some questions or comments... nothing important.
Thank you very much for your work and the update once again.

Well, only those who do not understand the nature of a forum may think that the discussion is not important, This is not a download site but a community of likeminded. But you are right, Megavoyeur, recently many members don´t realise that new files are added to existing threads. Is this the fault of those who know how forums work or of those who just don´t care?

All i'm saying...

For the conversation to be correctly understood, it is necessary to inform the people who participate in it. By indicating precisely: "Regular update".

A forum is above all a place for exchanging discussions. Don't get me wrong (and that's why I've been asking people lately not just to drop by and download, but leave a message to say "thank you" and it's earned me the ire of many (including you by the way).
I'm just saying, most of the time a lot of people aren't worth it on threads that are a few months old, because when they see a new message posted they think it's (as so often is) a thank you message and nothing more.

You yourself just said I was right.

I'm not saying anything bad. And that doesn't mean that people don't know how to comment on a forum. Above all, it is necessary to inform people correctly as I do or "next door neighbor" also does.

The more information in the title, the better, right? And it's not just about downloads

Yeah, sorry for the incomplete last posting from me and thank you for the added explanations.

Adding "updated ..." to the title is a good idea and you are one who understands how forums work as you comment on other members´ postings.

At least these words were missing from my recent posting. I was half asleep may serve as my excuse 😴 and I still kind of am after a short night.

Hey @montfrance, Did you kept the original uncut Day4-604 22h file ?
It's strangely cutted on hot moments, maybe should you share it ? (free idea of course, no worries) :)

Hello Eros,
It's probably because I use recorders that only pick up sound above a given level.
