I'm not as experienced as I pretend to be but yes, if I have found the time to do some test recordings, I might upload them here. Yours helped a lot in decision making. The devices will arrive tomorrow (probably) as the tracking site says they arrive in my town today morning.

Hey Yeppie,
Have you had any chance to try them yet? I've been playing around with the settings on mine to see how long it lasts on some of the higher settings.

A long-time test (10 days) is running right now. I should be able to report next week. What are your results?

Yeah, 10 days should give it a good work out.
I cranked both settings in the firmware up to the best quality.... no compression and the other category up to the biggest file size. It recorded for about 20 hours and then the memory was full (the sound was far more legible than lower settings) ... the battery didn't lose more than a third of its charge doing that though. It's hard to tell how much of the battery gets used up doing what because the battery indicator in the firmware (for mine) only has three green boxes to show charge.
My two week test somehow left the battery that came with it unusable. I don't know whether I can still charge it. At first I thought the recorder was broken, but when I put in a new battery bought at an electronics store it worked fine. If your recorder ever doesn't want to record for longer than a minute and then flashes weird then it's probably the battery.

How mine went? F...ing bad, no results at all.
Can't blame it on the device, not really. I must have pressed the on/off button by accident when placing the recorder so the only "events" recorded where me placing it 10 days ago. I should have checked that twice.
All I can say now that the recording quality is ok, but there will be a new test sometime later and the results will be reported.
