really i though the ones in the archives were the 7 and 8 minute versions. oh well, both were recorded with usb thumb recorders. BTW i use to simultaneously record with a usb recorder and a sony ICD-BK112 on some. Ive been noticing that the Sony recorder picks up a lot of detail. When i get around to it i'll post more stuff from my 4 year absence

but why use two recorders?

Initially i chose to do most of my stuff on USB, more compact and discreet. Then I tried using both at the same time and see if there were any differences. The sony picks up more detail. Wish I would have used that one instead of the usb recorders this whole time. But id rather lose a usb recorder than a expensive cell phone sized recorder.

Yeah, an expensive recorder will always pick up more detail. But its the least practical so its difficult unless the coast is completely clear.
