Alphonse didn´t write that ptempo´s recording is a fake but that they sound overdoing. I´d like to ask you to be more careful when accusing a valued active member.

I have just spent some time editing both new Rachel and new neighbour content here. Given that there's a multipage thread with backstories describing my methods which are similarly illegal, should that series be pulled down too? Where is the line exactly, because from here, it seems like I've crossed it in almost every contribution lol.

Should probably point out that I'm not posting this to argue with Yeppie's decision, I'm asking because I don't want to put the site in danger. Fairly sure Yeppie knows me well enough to understand that, but just for the record.

Sc0tt-UK
Scott, I know that your intentions are always pro community.
Other than here I didn´t see any undeniable proofs for illegal methods in your descriptions. All I know is that you recorded from the staircase without intruding into somebody else´s appartment.

Firstly.. Thanks ScottUk

Secondly PTtempo your post of May 9 has a criticism on it of being fake

Thirdly Yeppie not sure the real reason for pulling it.. But most of the stuff here is either illegal or borderline so, thats even before we get onto moral issues... Recording your sister in law in the next room or you wife in bed without her knowledge seems far worse than listenimg outside a letterbox

I understand both the concern of all members well being, the communities rules and so on..

It would be sad if a member got into legal problems and neighbour problems.. In some case it´s sad the recording gets lift off the files list, but of reasons that protects the member, IF legal probs would emerge! No soundfile, no prof if you get deeper into the issues!

This site has it´s rules of a reason and admins rules are to be followed! So if a admin oversees some jumps over the rules are for a reason, everyone here can get a recording lift off the site!

So i see no reason for all the fuss and why argue of this and that, when rules are rules! And i Think admins decition is good becase he does it for the greater good!

Sorry if this post would be harsh or so, it´s not my meaning in that case!

Hey listenguys,
why should I claim false reasons? I told you that this site had to be closed once for similar reasons and that I got threatened personally. I sure won´t go through anything like that anymore.
I´m partly with you on the moral side of things but I am not talking about morality but about legality. And invading somebody´s property for recording is clearly illegal. If the sound coming through the letterbox could be heard and recorded from the street (of from your garden), we wouldn´t have to discuss this.

YEPPIE Seems like you got it in for me!!

I stood on a public pavement and recorded noise coming through a letterbox to the street... Thats far less illegal than loitering in a hotel corridor... You're playing god here and looking after your mates... So what the fuck if pttempo is a long standing member?! Does that give him the right to be a prick and criticise my post? So this is a club for long standees now is it??? This is a joke...not a funny one either

Fellas, take a step back for a second...

Ptempo - that breathing is Listenguys being excited about making his first catch, but once he calms down and settles in to listen, it gets better. There are long gaps in the action (as is the norm with sounds recorded in an uncontroled environment), but when the action is there, it's good stuff. If you still have a copy of the file, spend a bit more time with it and you'll probably hear what I'm talking about.

Listenguys - trust me on this, the critique just seemd overly dismissive/harsh because it was your own post. People with a solid track record of posting do get put first around here, but I guaranty you that Yeppie would jump to your defence equally quickly once you're a few more posts along the line. Honestly, he's a good dude who doesn't do anything lightly. Don't forget that there's also a language barrier to take into account. If Yeppie ever comes over as tactless, more often than not it's just the German-to-English translation fucking him over.

Futheas on the other hand, our other silent overlord, he's different. Futheas is pure evil, and is to be feared... ;)

Now, who's up for a group hug?

thank yeppie but i m not an active member anymore, i dont want to contribute anymore for leechers like listenguys
i was genuinely asking if there was something to hear in this recording because i tried removing the extra noises to amplify but it was too much work :D

Scott-uk You talk a lot of sense... Thanks

Pttempo... You are lucky to have a lifestyle whereby you can creep around private property (hotels) and record..
I like a lot of your stuff btw..some is shit however but you wont catch me laying into you about it. I have a wife and kid so get very little opportunity to be active, hence i am a leecher.. Does that make me a cunt? Are you accusing the other leechers here of being worthless.. The ones who pay subscriptionto the archives you get for free are worthless to you then?
