I agree, it is not simple. It is very risky - especially when there are many people who know you well staying in the same hotel. The consequences of being caught are very serious so I am very careful about how I go about this.

I just have a quick question to LeStanf: Why did you split their activities into two parts? Is it because they stopped in the middle, or just for logistic reasons because of the exchange of the usb stick? I have the impression that part 2 contains more or less the direct continuation of part1. Am I right?

Yes, part 2 is a direct continuation of part 1 apart from the removal of about 20 to 30 seconds of the sound of me changing recorders.

As I've lost a few USB sticks over the last couple of years I've got in the habit of changing sticks every hour or so. Then if a stick gets discovered at least I've managed to capture part of the action.

I don't mind losing the occasional stick, after all they only cost a few quid, but I do get miffed when I lose a really good recording!

No, I was not aware this was on moanspy, in fact I've not heard of that site before now. Looking at all the adverts on the page I can't say I feel happy about some stranger using my recordings to make money without my agreement. But I guess that's the internet for you.
