My original post in this thread was meant to be agreeable and complimentary to what you were saying. It was not meant to turn into a discussion about whether they were new lovers or a one night stand couple. I was not making an argument either way.

The point was that they were a 'new' couple of sorts.

If you listen to the recording, he asks her for anal and she says to him 'yeah OK, it's been a really long time but Ok'. This, in my view, was a pretty strong indicator that they were having sex for the first time. It may not be the case, but it indicates that it is so.

The use of the phrase 'I love you' or 'I love you too' during sex is not, in my view, strongly indicative of any kind of long term relationship. It can be (obviously) but it can easily be said in the throws of passion at any time especially by people who are just loving in nature. To say it has never happened, like you appear to be saying, is a discredit to your original post with which I agreed with anyway.
