Sorry to hear about your hardware disappearing Gekko...... but you seem to have kept a good sense of humor surrounding it. You are one of the very few contributors on here that seem to occasionally capture the total "shock and awe" of a woman being seduced to a level they can never anticipate.

Security personnel should sleep, at night... as normal people do. :-)))
Yeah, but it wasn't them. The arrests and captures all took place while I was at brunch Sunday - about 1130AM when floor supervisors are doing their inspections after housekeeping, and way before security.
That...or maybe it was someone here who knows my secrets cleaned me out - my guess would be Physicist
Oh the accusation stings deep!

Never. I will never let my team down. I will never reveal the secrets of my team. No matter how much pain they cause me, I will honour our loyalty and our brotherhood. For without honour, the birds do not sing and we are doomed to a long silent night.

You have my word on that!

There will be a minute of silence for our fallen comrades tomorrow to honour their sacrifice. May they rest in peace. They have have served with pride and honour.

Seriously though that did give me a good chuckle.

That being said, it probably pains me more to hear you lose your soldiers and now having to replace them. I still have that picture in my mind of all your tools. What a collection that was. It belonged to a true artisan, a master of his craft.

Listened to the shower recording and i must say it is one of your best captures this year. Easily top 5 of captures this year. I dont know why but i loved all 8 minutes of it. Probably because this was also an UD.

She sounds absolutely lovely. What a beauty! Just imagining her taking it feom behind while her skin glistens with water sends the imagination wild. I imagine her to be a girl next door on a fun weekend out. What a great way to spend it.

Imagine the build up to this shower sex though. Wow.

I agree , probably best to stay away for a bit, or perhaps to go there once and not record anything. I wonder if they wold check the guest log when they spot something and see if they can find the "common" people. Staying there once and not recording might throw that for a loop.

Anyway, I am very sorry to here of your losses, but very thankful you are so dedicated and you got some wonderful recordings.
Good thought but already done.. If they detect the mic, they steal it - simple as that. My last few times there have been without any loss, so they have already seen me stay many times with no recorders -from their point of view

man that sucks. I always looked forward to our captures. Its always good to be careful. maybe play it safe and only leave them out until 6am 8am at the latest. because Housekeeping, maintenance and security always look around. and i feel that anything after 6 or 8 am is risky because there are more people in corridors. plus the sounds of foot traffic and conversations would drown out any potential good stuff.

I think you're right.

Waiting for 1pm was an over the top excessive risk - which Im paying for; so there's no way I can really be mad about it - the folks are just doing their jobs.

I'm more angry that the bridal couple refused to perform...that is just unacceptable on all levels

I agree, this is quite unfortunate, and gekko you have my full understanding on this sort of pain... I dislike such a situation that much that I do not let my recorders unattended for more that a minute or so... mainly not because of the loss but because of the scenario that one finds them, goes to the reception, they find it suspicious and do whatever they do in those cases. But I pay the price for this perceived security tick of myself: I am much less successful in recording sounds than you are, and I am happy if I get one, maybe two catches per hotel stay, and not 10 or 20 as you do...

Hence, what I want to say is: don`t be too frustrated about the loss, you have demonstrated the highest success rate from all of us with your approach, just consider and celebrate this success and maybe also give the situation a bit time to calm down before the next visit... or, to be consistent with your previous schedule and to remain unsuspicous: give the hotel a visit but without recorders... I see it will be pure pain on your nerves but it will just be for a limited period of time...

All that's happened is that one hotel staff member (maybe more) has cottoned on to the fact that someone - and
not necessarily a hotel guest - has been leaving recorders in the hotel's corridors, and that this staff member
knows exactly where to look for them. After snaffling them, they probably then start flogging them on eBay (or wherever).
The vast majority of underpaid, overworked hotel workers won't think twice about stealing belongings left behind inside
guest rooms after the guests have checked out - be it an iPad or even an old T-shirt - never mind taking an electronic item left
hidden in a corridor. You forget something in a hotel room, you won't see that item again once the housekeepers have been
in there. Expensive items (and money), of course, can go 'missing' even before the guest has checked out. I recall speaking
with a Brazilian guest in a hotel I was at - his iPad (and other items) were stolen from his room. They were taken by a
housekeeper who worked her last day there and then fucked off to the U.S..

"They were taken by a housekeeper who worked her last day there and then fucked off to the U.S.."....

Isn`t there already a "big, big and beautiful wall"? :-)

But I agree to your statement, most housekeeping people will not expect too much about fining a hidden usb recorder...

I wouldn't be surprised if the story about her 'fleeing to the U.S.' was a deliberate lie told to the cops by one (or some)
of the cleaning staff, who were all from the same country (Poland) as the housekeeper, in order to throw the
scent off her trail.

In my experience most bridal couples either don't perform. or they perform a quick session and go to bed. most of the time they are exhausted. However I do notice that sometimes a just married couple will sneak away to their room between the ceremony and reception for an amazing session. I was lucky enough to catch one a few years ago. only because from my room i could see the couple return to their room through their window, because my room was opposite side of the structure overlooking the pool. I quickly ran to to their floor and room and enjoyed what i heard.

I very sorry for your gadgets lost! :(
It calls not just the price but the theoretical value.
They caused many goods for you and (of course) us.
I feel your pain too.

Great contribution and very sad story about the loss. I know how you feel, as I lost some expensive gear a couple of years ago. I'm glad the security staff didn't catch you as well as the gear. Even though the recordings are great, I wouldn't risk trying to capture more there for a long time.
