Hey gekko, I messed around with the first file in Audacity for a bit, and I think I was able to clean it up and amplify a lot of the good stuff. Would you mind if I uploaded the altered version to this thread?
If this is against the rules in a way I'm not familiar with, I apologize, I only get the chance to browse here every few months
