Then: You could always upload WAV, but without the possibility to upload very large files, this wasn´t fun. On the other hand, mp3 seems to be the only file format that causes no compatibility problem for anybody and that also is directly playable as an attachment in the forum. That´s why people ask for mp3 often when another format was uploaded.

Where do you see the great benefits of WAV over mp3? Imho you our ears can´t spot the difference between a quality compression and the original but that maybe caused by my aged ears ...
