Florence was a disaster, a touristic and price hell, and I guess the only destination that could be worse would be Venice.
I loved Florence when I went there for the first time but I only wanted to leave and I hated that I had to wait for my train for an hour. But as old as I am now, my first time in Florence is ages ago ;-)

I stayed in Bologna and visited Modena instead and both cities were lovely experiences for me.
I visited venice a few years ago. The usual stuff sr marks, doges palace etc all wonderful. There are sone hidden great bars.

But i wouldnt return. Prices as u say, but also the dense crowds in tight streets, noise, the decay of the buildings is frightful, toxic politics etc. V sad. Like many european cities. Im sure pre 1960s was great.

Rome is still expensive, but much nicer and more impressive though. Especially vatican city. Buy tickets before you go online, skip the queues and go when it opens first thing in morning. Would return.

Florence - not been yet

I have never been to one but surely swinger clubs are fun... or swinger resorts. I hear that you hear orgys/gangbangs while walking in the hotel but some of them seem a bit pricey. and with this coronavirus going around i assume that there wont be many traveling around.

Dolphins and swans appear in Venice canals a week after city locks down to prevent coronavirus spread (Edit: story
is false; article amended.)

"What kind of man are you, don't you even like dolphins?" (quote from the film 'Zorba the Greek')

Anyone know if the hotels in the UK are getting busier? Might visit a couple of cheap travel lodges but I can't imagine anyone is there.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa,Florida is usually very busy with couples having sex at night after 1:00am but the the walls are soundproof so you won't be able to hear much unless you were to really press your ear up against the wall to hear a couple having sex which can be a little annoying because of all the proofing to make the rooms sound proof but the only bad thing about trying to capture sounds of couples having sex is
they have security that patrols the guest floors and plus there are security cameras that are monitored 24/7 so trying to capture sounds with a device
is very unlikely and it's something that one should not risks go to Jail over as that casinos are usually a hotspot for sexual activity but the one in Tampa is built like a Fortress.

I’ll be in Italy for a month. About every popular city you can think of. From Turin to Sicily.

Any suggestions?

Now I'm a newbie in this site but I guess a good objective would be a city with a lot of Tourists.. so if this is an objective to me Rome is the first place then Milan, Venice and many more, including Turin

11.50 euro for a cup of coffee? Although it's possible that prices have now dropped because of the
recent flooding there. Don't get me wrong, I've always wanted to see Venice, but there are some places
I wouldn't set foot on purely because of the prices.
Yes Venice is expensive as hell but at least one visit is worth it.. you can go to a hotel in another city nearby and visit Venice during the day.. coffee doesn't cost 11.50 euro everywhere in Venice unless you go to Florian caffè (maybe there is more expensive than that)..but yeah generally speaking the prices are through the roof..

I was thinking of going there for a city break some years back with my Jewish (ex-)girlfriend because there are
kosher restaurants there. She went to an Orthodox Jewish school in London and ended up being more 'kosher' than
her mother (who would happily eat bacon sandwiches). Fancy 'glatt kosher' cuisine is expensive - that you expect (which
is why more and more young Israeli couples can't afford to travel abroad) - but those hotel rates were way too high.
Plus, Venice is way too crammed full of people during the tourist season, and it's a small place, so it's not really for
me anyway.

I'd stay in the Montmartre/Pigalle/Batignolles area.

London has a few very good places that get very naughty, especially if you head out to the south east area specifically Bexley as that’s where a lot of London’s rowdy people are from. I will list the hotels in a post below this.
