I'm here, but I've got some problem with the hardware and other stuff...
I'm still using the voice recording on my i4 and I'm going to provide another recording soon... :o
However, don't expect too much, obviously it's still too cold, it's like the winter is coming back....

mysx wrote:Actually I think the file names should be visible after the files is moved to the archive, (=links gone) so all will know what to look for when reading the posts. That would make it even more interesting to get access to the archive. I mean the files should still have some connection to the posts. I'm sleepy, just a thought, we could discuss this later at a suitable thread.

    Example
    Uploaded 2013-11-13:
    Nb-131112-w.mp3
    Nb-131113-w1.mp3
    Nb-131113-w2.mp3
    I agree, mysx.
Now I need an idea of how to do this. Problem is, the links/file names disappear automatically when the file gets deleted in the forum - naturally as there is no more attachment. I could manually add the file name to the thread in each affected message but that would mean a load of additional work to do.

Anyway, there always are a few hints to find a sound you read about here in the archives:
    - category + uploader -> folder
    - description, usually copied from here,
    - sometimes the topic,
    - sometimes the date, if files are labelled like yours.

I know this is not a totally satisfying solution.

    Yeppie,
You could ask people to put the filenames in the text as they upload. Not everyone will remember, but most will.

Oh... something went wrong when I corrected the old post about filenames, sorry...

This thread got corrupted somehow and old pages is gone. It wasn't me, maybe there's a backup but I rather start a new fresh thread. I'm just waiting for the boss to return and I have some editing to do. Have a great time all listener's, I suggest take a listen to Audio's and others amazing recordings while waiting...

I think the great wizard moved them out to file archive.
