So, another weekend arrives, and it's another weekend where Rachel and Chap appear to be staying at his place... damn!
This did however mean that I had time to find a suitable recording spot for the other couple in the building. I'm off for a kip now, aiming to be up bright and early tomorrow morning to see what might come my way. It's gonna be a frozen Sunday morning - seems like the perfect time for them to enjoy a lay in.
Here's hoping...

It bloody was as well (frozen I mean), and may indeed have been the perfect time for a lucky catch had they both actually been there... doh! NO files from this morning or tonight's attempts, but for anybody who likes following the tiny details, here's what I've learned.
It's hardly surprising I haven't heard a peep from the other couple, who shall henceforth be referred to as Mr and Mrs Unrecordable. The door that I assumed to be their front door actually opens onto a whole other bit of building that I didn't even know existed, which leads to their actual door, which in turn has had its dodgy fitting compensated for by an annoyingly decorative/effective draft excluding foam thingy. I can't figure out what I was picking up yesterday when I thought I'd found a good spot for them, because other than loud coughs/laughs etc, I can't get a thing without taking the risk of being through that first door and snuggled up to their draft excluder... shit!
Not wanting to give up quite so easily, I made sure that I had a reason to pop outside whenever Mrs Unrecordable got home to get a better idea of whom I'd be taking the risk to hear. In doing so, I discovered that she's heavily pregnant at the moment. We're talking petite lady, BIG bump! The combination of all of that leaves me with not a lot of hope we'll be hearing them anytime soon, but I've paved the way to a smooth recording as much as I can just in case. For starters, that first door doesn't quite close properly anymore due to the handle mechanism jamming. Also, there's now a conveniently located split thanks to some careful destruction of the draft destroyer. It's not obvious enough to be noticeable unless you know where to find it, and I doubt it makes the slightest bit of difference with the wretched thing in its usual position, but I should now be able to get a decent recording if opportunity comes knocking (with the exception of the first 30 seconds or so as the foam settles down around the end of the recorder).
It still feels too risky to actively chase this one, but let's see what time brings.

If anything it will be sounds from the latest addition to their family that will keep you up at night...
Good luck anyway!

If that starts happening Findu, I'll do them the neighbourly duty of fixing their door. I'm a good neighbour some days

Quick update from last night:
Chap arrived at around 7:30. His opening line to Rachel as he went up stairs was "hi there stranger", which at first I assumed was sarcasm since she'd been away all weekend, presumably at his house. But, he had a taxi waiting outside, and after making two trips out carrying some clothes and other belongings (Rachel accompanying him the second time), he left again. There was no sign of physical affection between them when he got back into the taxi, and they both seemed quite tense. Conveniently, a buddy of mine who smokes like a chimney was visiting at the time, so I had an excuse to hang around outside and observe while she topped up her nicotine levels. When Chap left, Rachel dilly-dallied outside for a moment. My friend offered a cigarette and a consolatory "everything ok?" simultaneously, to which Rachel just pulled a face, said "I need a drink" and headed off in the direction of the pub at the end of our road.
Hmmm. Once again, my spidey sense senses trouble afoot. Perhaps I was wrong to write off the signs last time I suspected it.
Keeping my peepers peeled as ever...

Oh well if he's fooked off she'll be wanking again soon enough, once the desires up and running it's kind of hard to shut it down.... There are times when I prefer hearing the wanking to the shagging anyway.
Ray.

This thread is great because not only do we have excellent sex sounds but we get to hear the story of a life. As Broggie says, maybe now we'll get to hear her looking after her own needs for a time? And then what? Will she be as passionate with her next man? Will he bring a new touch which brings even louder moans?
Well done Scott, can't wait for the next installments. "Classic!"

Not sure about anybody else, but i think, like Scotty, i feel a bit for her, after reading so much anout her here in these fantastic threads and actually feel sorry. Lets hope they get back together, or she finds a new friend. Well, thats how i feel anyway, even if everyone now laughs at me.

No, youre not alone in feeling like that Lifeonmars. Rachel has given us all so much pleasure, its only natural that we all want the best for her. Thats not to say that I wont be downloading her solo action though. I dont feel THAT sorry for her!

Chaps, I'm going to be temporarily backing off the Rachel observation. Having overheard a few minutes of her phone conversation as she made several trips to bring shopping in and went by my front door, it would appear that A) things aren't particularly straight forward for her right now and B) she's not taking said things particularly well. I don't have much in the way of ethics left here, but snooping on someone who's blatantly having a shit time of it just for kicks doesn't feel right at all, hence winding things down for a while.
Instead, I'll get you guys caught up with the solo flights I've captured so far. We generally bump into each other and swap a few words every few days, so whenever she seems to be back to her usual self I'll pick up the recorder again.
