I thought the girl meant to let go of her hands, perhaps they caressed her and at the same time deliberately restrained her to enhance the effect. I have no idea what exactly happened outside the door. And then apparently there is such a nuance in the translation of words that I wrote that the girl was asking to let her go, as a person somewhere else. In fact, the context was sexual.
