Here are two short recordings from that favourite hotel of mine. I use to live a 30min train ride from this hotel but four years ago I moved 4hrs away. Luckily I still have a lot of recordings on my iPhone. And, the reception used to leave at 9:00pm. Now, after reading comments on Booking.com- it seems the reception stays in the hotel the entire night on the weekends, which is when the action happens. And for some reason the people who work the desk reception are always up on the floors for some reason--this makes it hard to record.

I would also like to say, without sounding arrogant, another person posting on this Forum pointed out that he has posted a huge volume of recordings yet gets hardly any likes. I feel this way also. Without sounding arrogant-once again- I post some of the CLEAREST recordings on here and yet get only a few likes, few comments, few downloads while people who post static noise where you can hardly hear anything get tons of praise!!!!! How is this? I realize that I am fortunate that I found a hotel with very thin doors--but I would go to this hotel every weekend to record for this FORUM. One Jan1--from 9:00pm until 6:00am on Jan. 2 I was not able to sleep because there were sounds every single second of the night!!!! How glorious this was--and I posted them to share with this community---yet so little appreciation. I just wanted to mention this.

Anyway: These two are from 2016---USE HEADPHONES and get the full experience.

Opp2 (3:50)--this is short but do not be fooled. The sound is clear accompanied by strange piano music from the film on the TV. But keep going and you will see that this couple become very vigorous. Enjoy her moans. Enjoy the sounds of him slapping her ass. Have any of you had the thrill of standing outside the door and being able to smell her aroma of sex!!!!!

First (6:56)-I had to move a bit and stop and start in this recording because of other people in the hall (it takes a lot of attention to be aware if I hear a door open or a car pulling up to the hotel). At the beginning you can hear them kissing and her breathing. Then you can hear them (along with the person on the telephone from another room--that is how thin these doors are). You can hear their vigorous sounds throughout.

Personally, I find the shorter recording to be a better listening experience because they are more vigorous, but I can only record what the people do.

I did not see either couple.

I think one part of the answer is that most people in this forum prefer the voyeuristic aspect in the recordings. Very clear recordings can have two negative effects (beside positive effects):
(1) The voyeuristic aspect gets lost. When posting my own recordings in the members section, I was asked recently to put the recorder further away to give a more voyeuristic experience.
(2) We had too many wannabe recorders here who took the sound from a video they found on the web and added a made-up story. Clear recordings tend to give the impression that this recording could be one of the fakes. I am sure your are not lying to us but this might be what some members think.

Wow!!!! Do people really find that a clear recording takes away from the voyeuristic experience????? A clear recording really lets you know that people are doing something. Is there anyone here who thinks that my recording are fake---we can clearly hear a TV in the background with natural programming playing, and we can hear me touching the recorder. A bunch of static sound could be anything! I am posting in the wrong forum?

I for one totally support Yeppie's opinions here. There's a million different porn sites out there where you can clearly hear everything going on... along with the video to accompany it. However, there are only a small handful of sites in the entire world where you can faintly hear what's happening two doors down the hallway or through a wall itself. That's the unique thing about this site that sets it totally apart from any other out there. I'm with Yeppie.

Well, I didn´t say your sounds are not voyeuristic, I tried to answer your question and give an explanation for what I know some members feel. Others prefer clear sounds, it is a matter of personal preferences as Stott13 expressed. Personally I prefer to hear the voyeuristic situation, too, which means not crystal clear recordings. But that does not matter here and again, this is a personal taste and does not include any judgement about good or less good recordings.

But I did say that your recordings are NOT fake.

Well, "voyeuristic" has nothing to do with clarity, right? A dictionary says the meaning of voyeur is someone who obtains sexual gratification from observing unsuspecting individuals who are partly undressed, naked, or engaged in sexual acts.

For me, "unsuspecting" is what makes it interesting, and not something you find everywhere.

Sometimes you just can't get a clear recording for whatever reason and that's fine. I can appreciate poor quality, a little bit of detective work can be fun. However, surely you should always try your best to record the best audio you reasonably can given the circumstances? I get the best thrill when standing in front of a door when a couple is right on the other side of it, as close as possible. I find it hard to see why someone would prefer to be further down the hall in a moment like that. Deliberately making recordings worse just seems odd to me.

ChocolateRideHer asked a question and I guess he did so because he wanted some answers. Totally understandable given his feeling of a lack of responses before. I respect his wish, Stott13 did so, too. We all took our time to think, ask and answer.
I would appreciate if we could appreciate different opinions. Discussing doesn´t make sense without. But to me it seems there are some misunderstandings involved here, too.
