July Fireworks

Post by AshenElm »

Hello again everyone! At long last, I present the return of my neighbors from across the street. I have another thread that they star in, right over here: viewtopic.php?p=74609#p74609

They had been silent lately, for a variety of factors I suppose, but the main one was that they have a long-term roommate. I guess the gal doesn't feel comfortable being vocal enough to be heard across the street with another person in the house. However, I noticed the roommate taking a suitcase out before the long 4th of July weekend, and hoped this was my chance. Right I was! I caught two sessions, both over the holiday weekend and both with their own interesting background noises.

To give a description of them, they are a young couple in their late 20s, very much in love, and very well-suited for each other. They are both rather beautiful people, very fit and active. The man is built like a god: over 6 feet, biceps like basketballs, a perfect V for a back, a strong chin and even deep black skin. The woman is pixy-thin, short and with olive skin (I think her family was from Spain). She can be very outgoing, and has some strong passions that she will talk excitedly about (and these aren't the only passions you will hear from her!). She had a sundress on the other day that gave the impression that her nipple could cut clean lines in glass, even though they are small. I would imagine they would make a striking visual contrast in bed, with their different sizes and skin colour. In any case, that they enjoy each other greatly is clear.

I was happy to have a chance to place my recorder closer to their windows, which are up a steep hill from street level. However, this also put the mic closer to their AC unit, which was running full blast on this humid summer night. So while the sounds I was able to pick up were great, the quality suffers some. I will add a straight version, with the full ambient noise and a version with noise reduction, to better hear vocals. There is some nice sex dialogue, with some "oh yeah" "like that" "yeah right there" and the like, and then a super-loud car just as she has her final orgasm (drat!)

The background has some fireworks and gunfire. Yes, that right, citizens of other countries, it is a legit fact that Americas will fire guns into the air in a crowded city on the 4th of July. USA! USA! (what could possibly go wrong?!)

The second session is right before a thunder storm, so I'd like you to imagine a crackling feel to the air, the warm of dense humidity and the sense of anticipation that goes with this. Also, I'd like you to image that I'd like my recorder to not be soaked, and so it is recorded from my porch, thus the audio is a little more distant. I really love the ambience that surrounds this clip. I let it run a little long to hear the thunder rumble.

WTF??? :o What state do you live in where people can legally fire guns in the air??? I can imagine at least 3 where I'm sure it happens legally with no one getting shot or injured; Florida, Texas, Arizona. This just surprises me. Anywhere else and you'd get the fuzz knocking on your door. :?

The 'legit' was about the fact this happens, not legality as I read it.
Most state have bans on fireworks as well as random gunfire within city limits but that at most slightly limits the goings on.

Not much in American cities, but way out in the rural areas in the middle of nowhere its common for guys to blast guns skyward just for "fun".

Yeah, I'm not saying it's legal, I'm saying it's common. And I can imagine a call to the police about a random gun going off on the 4th would go over about as well the time I called the police on police officers making traffic violations. And like I said, I'm in a major urban area, not out in the boonies. It's a few handgun rounds, not clips of AR14s.

I guess with explosions and loud *pops* going off it'd be hard to tell the difference between fireworks and gunfire, especially on the 4th.

I've been busy, and haven't had time to do a lot of editing. I'll try to get something together soon though.
