ylv revisited

I have over the past few weeks had a look a some files that I would consider to be more pleasing to the ear if they were processed to lessen the embedded noise. At the same time I also added some compression to make the sounds more "listenable". This brought up the level of the quiet sounds at the same time reducing the more vocal parts where the couple is in full orgasm.

This makes it easier on the ear as you don't have to turn the volume up at the start, then turn it right back down towards the climax, then back up again to hear the post coital whispers.

I have added 2 files, the first from were from yeppie's archive, which was then filtered to remove the 50Hz hum, then reprocessed with further high pass filtering set to about 150Hz. 6Db of compression was placed to used to even out the audio. I could have placed further hiss filtering i but that would have taken out a lot of the more subtle noises of breathing and whispers.

Thanks to the original poster, (yeppie, is this one of your's?)

Please bear in mind that such filtering is very intensive and not all files can benefit from the work, but those that do can really be lifted out of the mud, so to speak.

Please listen to the difference and vote on whether it is worth it or not.

Regards

Now this is interesting. I am looking forward to listening to a polished sound of my own.

Yes, one of my recordings, ten years ago. The version you used as original is not the best one and it is a converted one - the originals probably got lost. The format I preferred in the early years was the real media format, additionally I converted most files to the mp3 format.
As bandwith and email attachments were limited back then, I often did different versions and uploaded or sent the one that did not take to long to process. This recording exists as low, mid and high (not really) quality version. I will attach the best existing mp3 version to this message for your comparison and further editing if you like.

Dear Yeppie,
This is one of the best professional audio editing jobs I've ever heard! If this quaility is low (in your words) what would be the high-end ??? The sound is great, clear as digital (though it's ten years age) and very exciting! Keep good work. Nobody can enchace this clip, I think.

Thanks for the original Yeppie.

I have applied a 200 Hz high pass filter, then added a 6Db compression.

Nothing else was done as any further work detracted from the subtle nuances of some of the (very) erotic sounds.

Thanks for the sounds, you obviously had a good time recording it.

Cheers

I should add that I chose "unfiltered," but that is only because I enjoy playing with the sounds myself!

PetaJ's work however is extraordinarily good, and the remastered file is a wonderful listen.

Thanks PetaJ, sounds even better without the hum ;-)
Although this is an early production, I remember the setting quite well. We placed the cam (yes cam, most of the earlier sounds were ripped from our private clips) on a chair and started to have fun on the floor. What makes this recording so special is the fact that we lay right in front of our living room floor-to-ceiling-window with the shutter open and the lights lid.
