From Russia with love (August 2023)

Hello everyone. I’m posting my own records, recorded in the summer in one of the southern hotels. I took a lot of risks (there were cameras and at the same time the cleaners cleaned and prepared the rooms), i waited for a very long time - i walked up and down the floors for literally hours, just supposedly walking at different intervals throughout the day. I placed the device (iphone) under the door.
P.S. It’s an very unusual experience to be exposed like that (Last year I also recorded once in the same hotel, but then it was a one-time “action,” so to speak. But this year I actually walked around the rooms for several hours after i swam in the sea in the morning), but on the other hand, I was wondering what I would answer if someone caught me recording. Most likely, I would say that “I just walk around, don’t bother anyone, and if I hear something while passing by, I want to write it down.” In fact, there was an intersection with a young cleaning lady, who probably came to work part-time from the outback, right at the end of file “542 2”: she was already walking towards me, with a cleaning cart, but I was standing, standing near the door of the room, and the smartphone I was lying under the door, she sees me, I see her, and yet I kneel down and silently take my smartphone and leave as if nothing had happened. That is, she clearly saw my actions, we made eye contact to each other, but no one said anything to anyone. It was scary, although my action was at most simply unethical, but not criminal. And I was wondering, if you work in a hotel where there are cameras, is it customary for employees to somehow react to residents who are eavesdropping near someone’s rooms?
P.P.S. Months after this experience, I realize that it was a very moving experience that I want to return to, no matter how abnormal it was. Ultimately, I didn't do anything illegal. Most likely next year I will repeat the same thing.
