We shared a flat

Unbelievable - after looking in the file archive I found out, that the best recording I ever made is missing. I recorded it in 1978 with a Revox A77 through the wall. In the adjacent room my roommate and his girlfriend had a good time (so had I
). Some of you might know this soundfile, because I sent it to a guy named aaronilk who sold audio cassettes with sounds we all love (30 years ago, I think). All others hopefully like the heavy orgasm my roommates girlfriend had.

Wow, a vintage capture from the 1970's! Very cool. The A77 was one of the finest reel to reel tape recorders ever made for the home market. Thanks.

Shit i wasnt even born yet even a decade later after that. Seems like a very cool time then, from the sounds of it.

What the hell?
Could this possibly be the oldest non-porn sex sound capture in existence that
hasn't been recorded
by an intelligence agency? I'm surprisingly amazed at how good the quality is!

This…is why we need to invent time travel.
Take our hobby into the 4th dimension.
My itinerary:
Hotel Carlton (now shut down) - one recording each decade from -1920 until its pandemic closure.
19th Century Paris
Ottoman Harem
Genghis Khan Harem
Cleopatras apartment
Antioch - public sex garden (during ancient Roman period)
Atlantis ?
Plus we don’t want to leave out captures from couples in the Olmec, Mayan, Aztec and Inca civilizations.
Last stop: 100,000 years ago to record interracial intercourse between a modern woman and a Neanderthal (you can actually see this in Clan of the Cave Bear - Darryl Hannah! Or Rae Dawn Chong in Quest for Fire teaching Neanderthals how to do the missionary position)

Time travel? What a good idea. So I can travel back to 1976, when I destroyed such good recordings of the beautiful redhaired neighbour. I mixed up the tapes (also Revox A77) and recorded some vinyl records I borrowed from a friend. What a shame! I can still remember her joyous cries "a ja, a ja, a ja" (o yes). I was still living with my parents a that time. So I had to move the A77 to our living room. The neighbours bedroom was adjacent to our living room. Off course I could only do that, when my parents were not at home. Unfortunately this was not that often. I would give a fortune, if I could regain these recordings!

Amazing. I think I used to have this recording, either on one of ILK's tapes or from Usenet. There's such a fascinating history to all of this, largely undocumented outside of the archive.
Edit: I just realized, it's too long to have been posted as a single file on Usenet, so it must have been on the tape.

Your recording is so great. I'm really thrilled that something like this was possible at this time. Thank you very much. I wasn't born 10 years later either.
I hope you can post more recent shots.

Just wonderful!
And what a pity that the recordings of the redhaired neighbour are gone

And also a pity that we can't connect our brain with a recording device in order to share what we've heard with all sexsoundlovers. I remember one warm summer night in 1986 - the mobile phone wasn't yet invented - when I walked home and suddenly heard lovely moaning coming from a ground floor flat, where the window was not closed. I could also hear the rhythmic sound of bedsprings. It was phantastic! Problem was, that I couldn't stay under this window for long, because I noticed other pedestrians coming my way.

I love the old analog artifacts in this, it has some feel of shortwave radio sound. What an old treasure!

Oh yeah I was thinking you were an impostor then I read the whole post of you. It’s because I actually noticed the recording from way back and I guess my starting days. I can’t remember where I stumbled upon it but this one is definitely one you’d always recognise so I thought you were trying to fool us. Great to hear the original story.

Wow! I absolutely love recordings like this one. I also tried to clean it up a bit, but didn't go so hard on the noise reducton bur rather experimentedwith sme other filters.
