San Diego Motel

So this week I had to drive down to San Diego on business.
There was a very cheap motel that I was curious about - so I checked in. I know it's rolling the dice since it's almost impossible to get something decent under the door, so I'd be relying on thin walls.
I got into my room.
Bed was clean albeit one cigarette burn in the comforter. Floor is hard synthetic wood, and clean. No bugs anywhere. However, there were all sorts of holes knocked into the walls by previous guests. Some were just open; some were lazily taped over. The outlet boxes had no covers - just some tape - voila!!! I fell in love with this room!
So I checked in and one hour later my neighbors arrived. Early '20s. Black athletic male. Petite platinum blond white girl.
And oh the music they made..
Plus- in a hotel like that - no security, one check in clerk - no one cares what goes on and it showed in her expressions..
