Hi there SSL community!

I'm new in this SSL world which I discover a few months ago after I spent a night in a hotel where all kind of noises where around the room. Since then I'm really aware of these kind of sounds which before didn't call my attention at all.

Did it happen to any of you that you get super interested from a specific date?

Any hardware recommendation for record with decent quality? I saw a few post in the hardware subforum without any clear clue on what to buy.

I will upload some recording I have from other day. Unfortunately, I didn't record any of those moans from the hotel that night, and I'm sorry since then

Last but not least, I want to thank you to all the active member on this forum and congratulate for what you have achieved, is quite impressive.

Almost everyone here has some kind of story that got them excited enough to start seeking this content out. Some from childhood, some from a roommate, some from a hotel. Many post here are dripping with the feelings of excitement these experiences bring.

More or less any inexpensive USB recorder you can grab on Amazon will work great, so long as it has a continuous recording mode. Around 30, 40 bucks will get you one that will record for over 24 hours per charge. I like a waterproof model.

Yes, this happened to me earlier this year. Was a crazy night from the next room in a hotel where I was for 2 days. Since then, I'm looking all kind of sounds and this is how I found this amazing forum.

Before that, I wouldn't say wasn't fun to listen, indeed it was. But one thing is to hear something "accidentally" and another is the situation I find my self now: buying usb recorder, looking for nice spots... I guess some users will get identify with this

I bought one from aliexpress, with a magnet so it can stick to metal surfaces which I thought it will be more convenient. So far, I could record better with my phone than with the usb recorder. Will try more environments.

I fully agree, and that's why convinced me to register and post all recording I might get + comment to other user's posts.

Yes this happened to me the first time it happened I was with my girlfriend in a hotel room and whilst we were in the middle of things we could hear othes doing the same thing since then whenever we go anywhere together I always keep ear out for the sound of thumping and moans
