I’ll gladly answer that to the best of my recollection, but I hope the readers can appreciate how much is going on ‘behind the scenes’ in terms of the interplay of social dynamics, sexual marketplace economics, and evolutionary sexual psychology.

We met up for coffee and her demeanor was very different from my experience of her on the plane and at the airport. I wasn’t sure what was wrong except she seemed disinterested and kinda spacing out. I didn’t spend more than 45 mins with her before I told her I was going to go and I literally left her at the coffee shop.

About a week later or maybe less, she texted me to say that she wanted to see me again and that she wanted to make a better impression. I called her out on her demeanor and behavior at the coffee shop and she was further apologetic. I agreed to meet up with her again. The coffee shop this second time was near my apartment, and after coffee I invited her up to my place, and that was our first time.

I tried to tell the story succinctly but there really isn’t any way to do it without leaving out the salient details. Suffice to say that I’ve been doing this for decades and know my way around.

The main take away points are:

(1) build rapport quickly, use props that naturally present themselves, like her dog in this case. I’ve met several women on planes that progressed to sexual relationships.

(8) allowing her to redeem herself on the second coffee date.
