I accept your comments and will comply, but I cannot help pointing out that recording from under a door, as many people do, is just as illegal.

I don't have access to the original file. I am only going by what is written. Perhaps Itsxsndlvr' post got lost in translation
If Itsxsndlvr means hidden in their room, then yes obviously that is out of bounds. Sorry its just too risky for this community and risky to you, Itsxsndlvr. Plus honestly, its not much fun.
But this does not make sense because its a hotel and he does not have access to another room. You only have access to your room. So maybe he means hidden in his own rooms door. Maybe he means an adjoining room with a common door?
Its possible his post was written using google translate and it was translated incorrectly.
Again, I am saying all of this without having heard the original file. Just something to consider

I have reflected on this and modified the original post, but I do not want to contest anything.
Next time, I will simply not say anything about how the recording was obtained, which will most likely be more 'traditional'.

Mate, it is not illegal if it was recorded using the traditional methods such as over hearing it from like under the door etc.
All we are trying to do is to ascertain whether you placed the recorder directly inside the room of the person you are recording.. thats all..as we think you may have used google translator rendering your translation from another language to come out as such in a manner that perhaps you meant to say you left the recorder in your own room and not directly inside the person whom you are recording's room and secondly phycicist raised a valid point as in how could you have obtained someone elses room key card to be able to have placed your own recorder in their room anyways...like on their couch... In their closet etc etc.. thats all we were trying to find out.
Say if you left it under their door that was shut in full or outside their room like under a fire extinguisher or even on the door frame outside all that is totally fine as all that can fall under overheard which is legal, just not directly inside their room.
Thats all the difference that would make it illegal vs non illegal besides a few other things such as recording people of legal age etc etc.
So its not all doom or gloom and you definately dont have to feel like you are walking on eggshells here, we just want to make sure the manner in which you captured your recording was all legal which would then make your recording re instated as the good sex god may have intended..

Hey mate, its not yeppie or anyones intention to stop you from posting,
sometimes we just have to be safe. But we also understand that we cannot take risk.
If you are saying it was hidden in your room, like you have in the edited post of yours, i am sure yeppie will reinstate. It seems like it was only a translation issue.

Hiding camera/microphone in room is illegal. I do NOT want that happening to me. As a woman, it is creepy. OP should get mentally checked. Besides arent there security cameras in the hallways?
