Hi, I am digging files in an old computer of mine (see my other post in various), and it seems I cannot recover the few files I had posted on this board. Can a member have always access to his own uploads (in the Control Panel for instance) or not? I know about the archives, but I haven't been very active yet so... Thanks!

Kleen, that is a good idea. Unfortunately the files are moved to the archives physically which means they are deleted here and uploaded there. So no chance of giving access via the control panel of the forum software.
But you will get your recordings back nevertheless. A few times I had the opportunity to assist members who had lost their own sounds. If so, just ask and I (or Futheas or whoever has a full copy of the archives) will be glad to help. I will send a pm with your sounds attached.
Everybody with sounds on his harddisk should upload them here - the archives are kind of a personal backup for your most important files
