I can't speak for Yeppie obviously, but there was a big difference between the posts above from listenguys and peza, that being that Peza was constructive. IMHO, whether you dig the current content or not, this place has always remained remarkably more friendly and supportive than most forums, something I'm sure Yeppie is keen to maintain.

Not everything posted is going to float everyones boat, so if it's not your cup of tea, thank your fellow audio-perve for the contribution and move on. If it's really not your bag, you could even bypass the thanks and just say nothing. If you're sure it's fake, dig out some evidence. If nothing here is up to your desired standard, investigate the possibilities of creation and raise the bar.

Or to put it in a more positive way... if you're a fan of Look's work, your first post should've been expressing that fact in your favourite Look thread, rather than using him as an example to needlessly knock somebody elses contribution. There is an important difference, and it's what keeps this place from becoming troll central like so many other online comunities.

My reaction towards listenguys posting may sound harsh, but I conceive the part of his message that I quoted as a personal slight against all active members, me included. How can somebody who joined only a few days ago pass judgment on what is the real thing in this community?

It is not stefan's recording that I'm trying to defend but the manners of communication, especially towards contributors.

I accept that this site isn't just for voyeurs, but by posting something under the guise of being voyeur when it is clearly not is just not right

I also don't believe that have be 'a member for just a week' means i don't have a wealth of experience in the world of sexsounds. It is very dictator-like to suggest i can't have my say based on that fact. I am a buisness advisor, and would not dream of suggesting to the new buisnesses i help that they mustn't question me because they've only been in buisness for a short time.

I also believe that the site admin should check postings for quality and put them into the correct place on the site

I never said anything like that. Your explanation in this posting clears things up but your initial posting sounded very different to me. I explained that in my last message.

That is what he does (and what you would have noticed if you would have been here for longer). I did so when being the admin, Futheas does so now.
For both of us the guideline is to trust and encourage members and to ask them not to fake. But we are doing this politely, knowing that we can't control every posting and that there are false descriptions. Absolute control does not work and quality in fact is very subjective. There are recordings that some members love that do nothing to me but I would never consider my ratings as the only criterion for the quality of a recording.
That is what distinguishes me from a dictator or god.

Its real recording with a philips voice tracer hidden in the room. Ive more recordings but always the TV is on and the sound in the background isnt good.
