Eastern European on Vacation in States

I flew into a larger city on the East Coast for some business meetings. I had some free time, so I was sitting in the lobby and waiting for a client. I noticed a couple walk in. She was early 30s, thin, short with dark hair. He looked a bit older. They were walking close, and acting like they were on a romantic trip. You know, where they look each other in the eyes at every moment. She laughed at nearly everything he was saying. There was some newspapers at the front desk for the hotel guests. I went up to the newspapers and perused through until I heard the desk clerk tell them their room number.

Over the week, I was able to collect a number of very nice sounds. I'm in the process of learning audacity, so I can edit. This will be the beginning of a series of captures. If anyone has any suggestions on best settings for editing out background noise, let me know.

This file is from a mid-afternoon event. I've spliced two sessions together. They took place about 20 minutes apart.

Great idea, have to try that too.
I love the sounds despite the background noises, very authentic. Are these through-door-recordings from the hotel floor?
