Etap Hotel recorded with mobile phone

I stayed in an ETAP hotel recently and made two short recordings my mobile phone. I transferred the files to my computer and converted them to MP3. Additionally I increades the volume. Unfortunately there is too much backround noise. Does anyone know how to filter the noise out? I used audacity, but it does not worked like I expected.

The trick is to isolate a long, quiet part of the file for noise analysis. Try (temporarily) cutting out the voices. The longer the sample, the better. Also increase the "sample rate" and other quality values in the noise reduction window.

You have to expect a bit of distortion - at worst it'll sound like underwater sex! :P

If you have the time could you give a listen to the 2 recordings I posted (Hypno Pimp-Daddy) and maybe give me your comments? I am hoping to hear what others thing about these recordings. If they are something people here like I have more I can post.

Thanks.

hey ralfhu2002 - thanks for sharing!
It'll be hard work to get much more clarity out of these recordings even with noise reduction, but hpd's shot at it seemed to clear them up a bit.
clip010.mp3 is the better catch of the two i'd say. If you find yourself in hotels much on business or whatever, and you like to listen, it would be well worth you spending a small amount of money on gear to collect better recordings.
cheers... good to see someone else new posting!

Thanks to all. Next time I will be better prepared and will take better equipment. It wasn't planned, therefore the only recorder I had was the mobile phone. Hope to have an opportunity soon.

It was the Etap hotel in Augsburg. But I think they are the same everywhere and most people use them really only for sleeping.
