A new job

I've the chance of taking up a job as manager of an old house, converted to holiday accommodation, here on the Gold Coast. At has five bedrooms, scattered round the building, built quite a few years ago. It seems to be popular with young couples looking for inexpensive accommodation. I'd be living on the premsises.
Any advice, please.

Next piece of advice is to recruit an evil apprentice as soon as possible. Where do I send a CV?
In all seriousness, my advice would be to consider the job as objectively as you can, so cancel out the opportunities by imagining that you arrive to discover that every wall is solid, every door is sterdy, every window sealed properly. If you'd still be prepared to do the job under those circumstances, then I'll still be needing the info about where to send my CV. I suppose what I'm trying to say is, don't jump at the chance just because of your hobby... nobody can literally live for the hobby 24/7.

Seriously, if the job seems good, I'd take it and take what opportunities arise when they do. I would NOT, however, recommend on-the-fly techniques that might leave you more open to getting caught (e.g., creeping around the doors in the middle of the night); I'd say figure out some clever, discreet setup that leaves you away from the rooms but able to monitor them when you want (if you've got the budget, of course). And remember, sometimes plain sight is the best hiding place.

Thanks, folks, for the advice. I'll take it on board, and be really cautious. From first experience, there seems to be some interesting activity.
