hey rbrtgbl - 1st of all nice post dude!!
I recall seeing another motelsex post a while ago just before the end of the old SSL yahoo group with the same handling of the cam and the same format used - was that you again by any chance? good calls on both counts if it was.
just one thing... it took me a while to play this file. In the end i figured out it was a quicktime encode, but with mp3 being the file extension somehow that wasn't obvious.
for anyone whos struggling to get this thing working you can either:
1. download it, go to rename, delete the "mp3" from the end of the filename and replace it with "mov", then try opening it (without the quotes)
2. download the reencode i'm about to post if you don't have quicktime or anything that plays quicktime files.
Hope nobody minds me posting the reencode, this is a quality recording and i didn't want anybody to give up on it before they'd had a chance to hear it so i thought i'd get it straight up here.
cheers again for the post, i'm hoping theres more where that came from?

A very good first post!
Thanks to both the original uploader and to Scott for doing the reencode. That would have given me fits because although I have quicktime installed I hate it and try not to run it.
Those little digital cam/recorders are great I carry one with me whenever I travel just in case I run across some good sounds, although lord knows that hasn't happened in quite some time arg! Now that summer is coming I really need to invest the money in a decent shotgun mic and see if any of these new neighbors get up to anything around here. i hope so for all our sakes!
Regards,
The Audioman

Excellent work!
Care to share any details about the recording? Time of night, did you get a look at the couple, was the adjoining room door or hall, etc.
Keep up the great work -
Cheers
