Is there a way to listen to files without downloading?

I would rather not download every file to listen to it. Is there a way that I can listen without downloading? Or to listen on my iphone? I have looked through the message boards and have still not found an answer. I can listen to the podcasts and samples without downloading but was just curious. And I'm not talking about the archives, just the free attachments. Thanks for any input.

I´m afraid the forum is the only place where listening without downloading isn´t possible out of the box. As you can see below, I just implemented a rough-and-ready workaround. To make use of this workaround, uploaders have to edit their post after sending. I can´t promise this function to be available forever as we might get into bandwith problems sooner or later.

Step 1: Write your message, upload your attachement, send.
Step 2: Copy the link to your attachment from your new message.
Step 3: Edit your post, type the name of the attachment, insert the copied link into the message, mark this link and click on the neoMP3 button (above the text box), send again.

Help: Move your mouse over the neoMP3 button.
Hint: You don´t need to be the original post author, every member can reply to a posting with an attachment and follow steps 2 and 3 (modified: reply to a post and insert the player).

Haven't tried this myself, but a chap discovered that the Opera Mini browser will play the files from this site on an iPhone. No idea whether it downloads in full before it starts to play or does some sort of makeshift streaming though.

Give it a try and let us know.

Would be interested in knowing if Scott´s way works as I have no experiences with an iPhone myself.

OK I downloaded the opera mini web browser for iphone and it works perfectly. You access the website through opera and then it opens up the file in some playable mode in safari. No downloading at all! So try that.
