My first posting

Hi, I'm just a beginner and this is my first posting so please be gentle with me, guys. It is an Audacity file of a couple I heard last week in a hotel room next to mine. I'm afraid they had the TV on the whole time and there's additional background noise of trains and a mobile phone. However, there's some good moaning from the young lady (slim, late 20's, long dark hair, backpacker with rucksack). I'm afraid I didn't see the young man involved.

The action starts at about 5.50, with more moans and gasps at 6.50, 10.50, 11.50, and she clearly orgasms at about 18.45 onwards.

My sound equipment is not very sophisticated (laptop + Audacity with microphone pressed to the wall), is there any way of removing the background noise? I've used the noise reduction function in Audacity but I'd really like to isolate the sound of the girl. Also, does anyone have any other suggestions about how to improve my recordings. I stay in hotels a lot for work so I'm keen to get better at this.

Chiao,

Leona.

Oops, the upload program won't let me post a .aup file extension. Any suggestions on how to change this?

Leona.

Hey Leona, welcome to the community!

I changed the settings, so you may upload .aup files now. Never heard of them before, is it an audacity file type?
You could always save your files to mp3 in audacity which would probably the better way for most to listen.

Regarding the improvement of recordings, it is always preferable to begin with the equipment instead improving the sound afterwards. I´d try another recording device like a mp3 player or another digital recorder, a simple external mic for your laptop might be a first change for the better.

Looking forward to hearing your recording - btw. please choose the motel sex category next time.

Yes, .aup is an Audacity project file type. To save as .mp3 open the .aup file in Audacity the use File > Export and select the file type as .mp3. You can also change the bit rate if the file is too big.

May want to check your file size to ensure it is within board limits, that will cause it to 'bounce' too.
