I lost my recorder a while ago (someone grabbed it out of a hallway hiding spot), and have also changed jobs recently so no longer am in hotels with any frequency to catch many sounds. But last April I was alone in a hotel and heard something through the wall at around 10:00 PM as I was just getting ready for bed myself. All I had with me was my cell phone, so I used that to get what I could. It isn't the best, but better than nothing. I simply held it up in the area I thought the sound was coming through the clearest. If anyone wants to try and clean it up, I have no objections. I had completely forgotten about this recording, but was going through my phone today to clean it up and rediscovered it:)

i can hear it, its definitley there but weak, maybe if you stepped on the corridor, you could have gotten better results...

Crank up the volume and you can hear quite clearly. This is like when you're on a business trip and you hear something faintly going on two rooms down from you or across the hallway. Thanks, Jayforall.

I thought about trying the hall, but the way the rooms were setup the bed was the farthest thing from the door so I thought thru the wall closest the bed was better than far away from the bed with a potentially thinner door. Ah well, was still fun hearing what I could. Just wish I had more success while I was traveling more.

I did a bit of noise reduction on this and amplified it some to try to make it easier for people to listen to without cranking up the volume all the way.

Then saved it as MP3 for convenience.
