hi guys,

so I lost my virginity... I did my first successful recordings :-]

the first of them was in an old Hotel in Konstanz. The couple was french and in the mid twenties. I've see them earlier go out and hear them when they got back. 20/30 mins later I could hear them for my room, so I grabbed my phone and started a to "audiotape" the action. I could'nt get any further from my door to theirs because the shitty wooden floor is squeaking as hell. I standard completely moveless for the recording. Luckily it was late and nobody watched tv (I hate it, it ruins the recording totally).
mp3: @ the second recording I didn't see them so no details. I was just going to have a breakfast ~@0730 hours and a wiry well known "rhythmic sound" is took my attention...
mp3: The iPhone got a pretty high noise level must to say. Anyone got an idea how to move on squeaky floors to make less noise as possible???

With respect to squeaky floor boards, perhaps one should just tramp and make as much noise as possible as if passing by, then quietly double back; would they hear you anyway, if the couple is vigorously occupied "in flagrante delicto"?

I would just risk it and walk slowly to their door.Thanks for you first recordings.

Great job. As for the walk past, yes just walk, I then stay outside the target and make a decreasing amout of noise so it sounds like I have moved on. I bet your heart was racing, sometimes I think the recorder will pick up my breathing and heartbeat as its so loud. J x
