Hi guys,

i have many recorded files over the past years on my old Olympus Pearlcorder S701 Mocrocassette from Motels.
Is it possible to save this files on my pc. I would like to share this stuff with you.

Mmmh it's could be easy if you have the good material with you...

Your device probably has a headphone out in mini-jack format, you can use it, but you need a PC with an audio device integrated or
USB connected, and a software for recording. Audicity is free and can record stereo files on it.

I guess your PC has audio input in mini-jack format, so you need a mini-jack cable, from your device to your PC, and try to transfert your stuff.

Don't forget to declare the good input device on audacity, near the microphone icon.

The device mini jack format looks like 1,5 mm and on my pc 3,5mm. So I need a cabel 1,5mm and 3,5 mm
from the device to my pc I guess...?

1,5mm ??? No luck, I think it's not easy to find this kind of cable

It seems very strange that your device has a 1.5mm headphone output, because if you buy a classic headphone how to plug it into your
device

Maybe you could make a photo of the side of your Olympus ? I'm curious to see that

The cable on the first pic is the headphone's cable ?

And I see an adaptator who seems to be 3.5 to 2.5

So it seems you just need a mini jack 3.5 cable, that's all

Plug the cable into the adaptator, the adaptator into the headphone output plug of your Olympus, and the other side of the cable on
the input of your PC. Then launch Audacity, check the hardware settings, and try to record.

Mmmmh I don't know what settings are possible, I never recorded with audacity
I think you should record at 128kb/s for mp3 is enough for a good sound

Try to have a raw sound and let "sexsoundlovers" edit and re-arrange in their own way ; )
