Quick 7zip how-to

If you have a file bigger than 32mb (limit for single attachment in this forum), you can choose to split the files to smaller archives. These files will be rejoined automatically when downloaded and unpacked. The tool I recommend for splitting files is 7zip and here is the short description how to split the files in equal parts:
1. right click on big file(s)
2. choose "add to an archiv"
3. you will see this (german language but you will find everything in place): 4. choose the file size (see arrow, I chose 30M), click ok
5. wait a few seconds and you´re done
6. the result will look like this: Did that help?
