german people / washing room at a motorway

Last month I made a brake at a gasoline station near bei a german motorway - and there has been also some washing rooms. A remarkable coincidence has been, that I could hear a german man and woman in one of the other cabins, and for me it seems, that they are not really a couple, but liked themselves very much. I took my handy and recorded them until the memory was full.. It's clear sound, but they have not been too loud.. Maybe you will like it?

If I should be wrong please excuse me a thousand times, Manuela - BUT:
Could this be the sound extracted from a video I mind to remember having seen some time ago..?
If I`m right why don`t you post it in the category "various".
Regards ;-)

I have doubts, too.

I wish I was wrong, but I don't believe that this can be recorded by a mobile. I know quite a lot if mobiles - and none of them would come close to this recording quality. They record with a compression like the one they use for telephony.

But as I said, I would prefer to be wrong.

Nevertheless, it's a nice recording!

?? handy or mp3-player ??

Maybe I'm wrong, but in my reminder it has been my handy.. but I could not conjure it: It's also possible, that I've recorded the file with my mp3-player..

Another very good file Manuela. If I am understanding you correctly were the two of them in the same restroom with you but in one of the stalls or something? It sounds as though you were pretty close to them when you made your recording. Unless you did some converting on the file then yes I would say you probably recorded it on your mp3 player as it is a 128k file.

Just for information some of the newer Olympus digital recorders have some pretty high quality settings that you could definitely get a file of this quality on one of those. I just picked up one of the ds-50 recorders and will be looking forward to trying it out next time I go out of town on business.

Maybe I'll actually get something this time have gotten skunked the last few times. Anyhow thanks for the post.
