Greetings everyone!

Post by Auralist »

Hello fellow perverts of varying degrees!

I think I actually had an account before several years ago but seeing as life, moving houses, computers changing and breaking, files being lost, logins changing and all sorts of bits and bobs, I decided to sign up again and also get through some of my backlog of sounds I've collected over the years, for both my benefit and everyone here.
In part also because I recently bought some Olympus VM Dictaphone style recorders that have served me well, but have left me with many 12/20+ hour recordings that are starting to take up a little too much space to be concealed on a shared computer!

Nothing gets the heart racing and the adrenaline pumping than hearing an initial moan in a situation you didn't expect it! (or did and it confirms you had the right idea to pay attention) it's great to have this forum with other people who understand this impact.

[warning philosophical rambling ahead]
one of the slightly more odd things I enjoy about our positions is related to 'Sonder'
A person might recall a private memory and be unaware of people like us who actually also share that memory from a different angle, almost like we are validating the moment in time that would otherwise go without notice and become eventually forgotten, if we actually record it even more so, this also plays a small part in my desire to log other peoples moments rather than my own

In fact one of my most desired situations is to be having sex and to then actually capture content of someone overhearing/spying on my act, so I can see the effect my situation has caused towards another person, to essentially "voyeur the voyeurs"

[/philosophical rambling]

I shall try to update regularly, but obviously finding the free time to go through a 20 hour recording and edit out the silence takes a long time, especially when the files are quiet and you need to focus + can't really have anyone around you while you're doing it

looking foward to becoming a bit more of an active member and contributing back to you all

HI Auralist

Nice name btw!

That feeling you describe of the world coming to a stand still, the earth's rotation stopping for a slight second when you here that first moan, everyone here knows. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be a moan, it could be a misleading moan which turned into a sneeze or something else but hey, you felt that excitement nonetheless.

For your recordings, use audacity, a free sound editor program. Much easier to filter through long recordings.

Welcome and we look forward to your contributions and hope you become a regular. You seem the kind for it :)
