Yet another hotel with bad reviews on TripAdvisor, like the previous one I visited, but this one was even cheaper
(and a bit larger with 30 or so more guest rooms), so I thought I'd give it a try on a Friday night to see what I could catch.
A large proportion of the guests, I noticed, were young couples and groups of clubbers and partygoers, many of whom returned
to the hotel in the early hours. Due to the paper thin walls in all the rooms, it didn't take a lot of effort to find couples
to record - the two couples I caught I could hear from inside my own room! I heard one other couple doing it during a patrol I
did in the early evening, but they were impossible to record due to other guests and hotel staff in the corridors at that time.
Definitely a place that's worth a return visit.


Loud screamer near my room

This young couple (Couple 9) suddenly drew my attention at around 5:20pm. I was inside my room at the time when I could
hear loud shrieks just outside, very close to my door. When I went outside, I realised that my door was facing the couple's
room side wall. So the sounds I were hearing were passing through that thin wall and their door. Fortunately, my room was
located in a mini-corridor off the main corridor (where the couple's door was located), so I could easily record them without
being seen. You can get a good idea of how thin the walls are in this hotel by listening to the thumping sounds produced by the couple banging away in these two audio files. I did not see this couple, but they sounded ethnic South Asian. They left the room about an hour later whilst I was recording Couple 10 (my neighbours) for the first time.

Super-horny young couple's two-hour-long session next door!

This young couple (Couple 10) entered the room right next door to me just after I had finished recording Couple 9.
Their room door was located in the same mini-corridor and on the wall perpendicular to the wall where my door was located,
and the two doors were literally just inches apart! This enabled me to record them from inside my own room by placing the recorder close to my door gap. At around 6:20pm, they started playing some loud music. It was obvious that they were
preparing to go out somewhere because I heard her using the hair dryer. So I was surprised when I could clearly hear loud
body-slamming sounds whilst the music was playing (Session 1), but it was very difficult to hear her moans in all the noise.
At around 2:10am, they returned to their room and, after about 20 minutes, started to have a two-hour-long marathon session! Waiting for those first moans was a big turn on, as were the sounds she made towards the end of the session, when she had her face in a pillow in a futile attempt to muffle her screams - a line from an Iron Maiden hit came to mind at the time! I didn't see the couple enter or leave the room, but I stuck around until last check-out time near the front entrance to see if it was possible to see them exiting the hotel. I saw an attractive couple - young, light-skinned ethnic South Asians - who were the likely couple. The man's voice matched to a tee when he said "thank you" to the receptionist. They were both slim. The guy had smartly trimmed dark facial hair and was smartly dressed. The woman's long dark hair had a slight loose perm. She was wearing a long dark coat, but what really caught my attention was the sexy pair of light-red stiletto high-heels she was wearing.

As I said above, you can hardly hear any of her sounds in the Session 1 file, just the body-slamming.
The couple you hear talking during the first two minutes were Couple 9, who were preparing to leave.

The Session 2 file (continuous recording) was so huge that I had to split it into two parts using
MP3 Splitter & Joiner. Each part is 60.6 MB. Let's see if they upload!

I guess you recorded 10 couples in total? Were all the recordings good or did you have to scratch some?

Just two. The 'Couple 10' means the tenth couple since I started recording my new batch of sounds last December.

This is excellent excellent stuff. I love the sounds of the wall thumping in the first couples recordings.

The accent does give away the fact that they are south asian. Its very pronounced. I just wish some couples didn't have to play music so loudly to cover up their activities.

Not much sleep. Not even after my amorous neighbours finally settled down. The windows in this
'hotel' are really shite. I could hear everyone and everything on the road outside.

Thin walls are a drawback you have to sleep with when you do this.

FYI I have another Olympus and a wall sensor on order right now.. will be good for situations when my room and neighbors face the elevators, impeding decent under door gap recordings.
