Was fortunate to have a trip scheduled to Northern California. Stayed at a classic hotel - no cameras anywhere except check in desk and lobby - and no self righteous crest sports coats wandering around bossing everyone and knocking on doors to keep noise down.

I am not sure how you don't go right off your rocker being so close to the action all the time. My heart would have been beating so hard I don't think I would have been able to hear anything else. It is interesting when a recording elicits that same initial response. It is like hey, you can calm down, this is on tape! You can even back it up and check out that little thing you thought you heard. And you can also go back and tweak the audio.

But being there, that must just rule. Thank you for sharing it with us!
