If you cannot hear any attachment, you probably use one of those toy devices by apple. There are threads in the faq section that will help. If you can't listen to sounds in older threads, then you should read the answer that sndprv wrote to your question in the other thread:

Totally the wrong forum and lack of ability to notice it that its been written in parenthesis everywhere on each subheader and still people cant seem to be able to read it..

Is there a real dumbing down slowly manifesting itself here? Hope not.

i was wary of the more open invite campaign via reddit and such. been seeing some traits being carried over into these forums.
